A fast game requires quick signals
Tchoukball is a fast-paced sport where just a few seconds can give a team the opportunity to launch an attack before the defence has time to get into position. That's why it's important for referees to communicate stoppages quickly and clearly, without unnecessary discussions with players on the court.
To achieve this, tchoukball uses 26 different hand signals that referees use to indicate what has happened during play.
